The Association of General Contractors No U Turn on Funding
"The following is an advertisement sponsored by The Association of General Contractors. The use of one of the most famous voices of Morgan Freeman is being used to carry our message to reinforce the need to continue protection of transportation funds for the public. The very fact that Counties and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) seem to be the only entities that utilize five and eight plans to spend tax dollars in a proactive basis. The County Improvements for Roads and Bridges (CIRB) funds are traceable through planning, design, and construction. The message is, nothing moves within our State unless we have safe roads and bridges.
Please contact Senator Patrick Anderson at anderson@oksenate.gov and Representative John Pfeiffer at john.pfeiffer@okhouse.gov to let them know you do not support taking funds out the CIRB Revolving Fund."
