Fair Board Election - Filing Period
The five day filing period for candidates to the Grant County Free Fair Board begins Monday, January 6, 2014, at 8:00 o’clock, a.m. and ends Friday, January 10, 2014 at 4:30 o’clock, p.m.

NACo Prescription Discount Card - Information for Residents 6-27-2013
The NACo Prescription Discount Card Program is a free program
for county residents to receive an average of 24% savings on their prescriptions. Everyone is eligible for the card. There are no age or income restrictions. The card can be used by the uninsured, underinsured, seniors and even pets! One card can cover an entire family! Nine out of 10 pharmacies accept the card out of a network of more than 60,000 pharmacies nationwide.

New NACo study shows proposal to change tax status harms counties, taxpayers
WASHINGTON, D.C. – As Congress and the Administration contemplate reforming the U.S. tax code, the National Association of Counties (NACo) has released important new research which shows that changing the tax-exempt status of municipal bond interest is costly and risky to American investors, local taxpayers and counties.

All persons having an indebtedness or claim against Grant County are hereby notified that all invoices and documentation pertaining to said purchase orders or contracts must be recorded in the office of Grant County Clerk on or before September 30, 2013, covering all debts now unpaid and incurred during the period beginning on July 1, 2012 and ending on June 30, 2013, or said account shall be void and forever barred.
